   • We are part of this Church that Jesus in maturing in himself

Application Points:

How does God mature us in Christ?

1. By the proclamation of Christ’s message

2. By our life together in Christ’s body

3. By keeping us from “plausible messages” that delude our faith in Christ

 

What Christ Deserves

Big Idea: This Jesus always deserves all of our hope.

Big Idea: We can easily drift from the hope of the Gospel.

Brother, Please Receive our Brother

Big Question: What if we don't feel like receiving a "lesser" Christian as our brother?

2. A very personal "request" - Receive him as you would receive me.

Big Idea: Our hearts need to be changed.

Three reasons for us to change our hearts.

1. We are required to love them as brothers and sisters.
2. Because the are far from "useless".
3. Our brothers and sisters are expecting us to.

2. Do we strive to love one another better?
3. Do we love one another, even when it's really hard to?
